Our detergent grade zeolite of type X has similar physical properties to type 4A. The main advantage of type X zeolite is its magnesium exchange capacity on the side with calcium exchange capacity. It is an excellent ion exchange builder for detergent powders formulated for washing environment rich in both calcium and magnesium ions.
